VPA Standards of Conduct: The Basics

The VPA Standards of Conduct are intended to guide the Association's Members in the ethical conduct of business with consumers.

Our industry standards should be read in their totality to get a full understanding of the conduct that is required of all VPA members.

As one part of our efforts to bring integrity to our industry, members must adhere to the Basic Standards, which cover the following sub-topics.

Note that the Basic Standards do not constitute the full set of standards developed for our industry. Other standards addressed include but are not limited to Advertising, Offers, Outbound Telemarketing, Refund Policies and Procedures, Security of Customer Information, Privacy Policy and Data Collection Practices, and the Consumer Complaint Process.
