Report Misleading Extended Car Warranty Mail Offers

Please report misleading "extended car warranty" mail offers to the VPA.

If you receive a misleading postcard that says your car warranty is about to expire and that offers to sell you "extended warranty coverage," we want to know about it.

Our VPA members are required to adhere to very strict guidelines that pertain to printed direct mail pieces, as documented in our VPA Standards of Conduct. Members that use mailers that violate the Standards of Conduct are subject to potential disciplinary actions, including decertification and possible expulsion procedures.

Given that VPA members are required to adhere to the Standards of Conduct, the odds are that any non-compliant marketing materials you receive in the mail are coming from non-members.

Regardless of which company it comes from, if you receive a misleading marketing piece for a vehicles service contract, please File an Extended Car Warranty Non-Compliance Complaint with us.

We encourage consumers to choose to do business with VPA Certified Companies as they have gone through a rigorous third-party evaluation to ensure they adhere to indstury standards that protect consumer interests.
